Begining

Small candy production LOL&POP was founded in 2013. Owner Alona was inspired to create her own business by her daughter Ivanka and American entrepreneur Martha Stewart. Alona accidentally saw a video on YouTube in which the famous American entrepreneur was preparing unique and unusual hard candies with the image of a heart inside.

At the end of the video, she said: “inside this candy, you can make any inscription or drawing.” At that moment, her experience in marketing, higher economic education, and entrepreneurship spirit met, and she saw in this idea an excellent prospect for a new sweet business in Ukraine. The main goal was to produce 100% natural candies so that her daughter could enjoy them whenever she wanted.

LOL&POP quickly adjusts to changes, creates innovative sweets from natural ingredients, and supports the “clean label” culture.

Almost 70% of candy in LOL&POP is made from plant-sourced ingredients, so they are suitable for vegans or people with specific dietary restrictions.

Our story

Marshmallows and jelly candies are made using natural extracts, and no beeswax or other waxes are used for glazing. The lollipops are made without sugar with freeze-dried berries and fruits. Marshmallows and jelly candies have a soft structure, are 100% natural, and have a simple ingredient list. They do not contain artificial preservatives, colors, beeswax, or other wax. Sugar-free lollipops contain two ingredients: sugar substitute isomalt, freeze-dried berries, and fruits, which preserve almost 95% of vitamins and microelements.

All products are handmade, and extracts are used instead of food colors, so they are safe for children.

Entering the Ukrainian retail network was short in coming; LOL&POP candies appeared on the shelves of Goodwine (a fine food grocery store in Ukraine) supermarket in the same year.
